What is included in the fee
**Uniform Requirements**
Please note that you will need to purchase your own formal shoes (navy/black), navy jeans & navy/black sneakers. The jeans should be free of any tears or holes. 3 Navy shirts and 2 navy pants/skirts are provided by the school.
**Training Materials**
All necessary training materials, including manuals and stationery, will be provided.
**Training Overview**
Participants will engage in both theoretical and practical training sessions.
**Assessments**
All assessments and practical drills are included, with the first assessment covered in the course fee.
**SACAA Cabin Crew License Exam**
The fee for the SACAA Cabin Crew license exam is included for the first attempt. Please be aware that an additional fee will apply if you need to retake the exam.
**Cabin Crew License and Certificate**
Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive a Cabin Crew License and Certificate that is internationally recognized.
**Swimming Lessons**
Swimming lessons will be provided if necessary.
**Aviation Grooming & Make-up Kit**
A make-up class will be included, along with a make-up kit.
**Photo Package and Aviation Career Management**
This package includes:
- Professional photographs taken by a photographer for your license and CV.
- An aviation CV template.
- Interview preparation materials, including tips, common airline interview
- questions and answers, and a preparation booklet.
- A comprehensive cabin crew guide covering interview skills, grooming techniques, and preparation exercises.
- Body language and effective communication skills
- Customer relationship management
- Aviation law and insurance
- Ramp service and baggage tracing
- Immigration and customs
- Ground handling, airside markings and air transport safety
- A list of contact details for job vacancies and guidance on where to upload your CV.
- Job application assistance
**Certification and Career Opportunities**
Upon successful completion of the course, you will be awarded a Cabin Crew License from SACAA, which is recognized by airlines worldwide. This qualification also opens doors for opportunities in ground staff positions, as well as roles on cruise ships and luxury trains such as Rovos Rail and the Blue Train.
**Bon Voyage Ceremony**
A graduation ceremony will be held on the final day of the course for all students who successfully complete both the theoretical and practical components.

FAQ
What do I need for the course when I start?
What are the requirements?
You need to be fluent in English. Speaking, reading and writing English is essential as all classes are in English. English is also the International Aviation Language.
How old do you need to be to become a Cabin Crew Member / Flight Attendant?
You need to be 18 to write the SACAA exam to obtain your license. You can make this a life long career as there is no maximum age as long as you are medically fit to fly.
All students need to have a tablet or smart phone as all the theory tests and exams are done online.
Every student needs to have their ID with them at all times (foreign students to have a valid passport)
Do you need a matric certificate to do the course?
No it is not needed to do the course, but some companies might require it for job applications.
Does Big Sky accept foreign (non-South African) students?
YES we do, everyone is welcome to join.

Loans
If you need to apply for a loan to cover the course fees and/or the accommodation you will need to fill in the online registration form so that we can send you an Acceptance letter and invoice for your application.

You can apply at any Bank, RCS, Just Money, Fundi, Eduloan, Direct Axis, My Loan, Hollard etc.

Big Sky does not provide loans, but you can pay your course monthly in advance. Once the full amount is paid you may attend the next available course. (Layby option)

Terms and Conditions
The following terms and conditions will apply:
No seats will be reserved unless Big Sky Cabin Training Academy receives a signed registration form and the registration fee.
All prices noted on this form and on the student info are subject to change without prior notice due to any unforeseen circumstances or outsourced company price increase.
The signed booking form is a legally binding document; additional costs will be charged monthly on outstanding fees.
Students will not be allowed to write the SACAA exam without full payment.
CANCELLATIONS
You may change your course date 2 weeks prior to the course commencement date you indicated on the form with no additional charges.
The fees you have already paid will then be allocated to your new course date. Registration fees are non-refundable. T’s & C’s apply.
